Putlocker 47 Meters Down: Uncaged
I've only just finished the first season so far and I like the whole new completely different twist on the "Frankenstein" story side of things. Although I hope as it get further along and so on that Marlott finds all the evidence he needs and proves how evil & bad a person Harvey is and stops him from going any further with his nonsensical useless science and trying to perfect reanimating dead matter. This show has great mystery and suspense and horror to it so all in all it is a great show.
Director: Johannes Roberts
Cast: Sophie Nélisse, Corinne Foxx, Brianne Tju, Sistine Rose Stallone, Brec Bassinger, John Corbett, Nia Long, Axel Mansilla, Khylin Rhambo, Davi Santos
Putlocker Good Boys
The director had been known in Korea as a novelist before he started to make films. That must be the reason why his films give us always the impression that they are deeply literary much more than cinematic.
"Oasis" is a very literary film like his other films, but it also gives us the specific pleasure to watch movies by the imaginary scenes dreamed by a handicapped woman named Gong-ju, for instance. These scenes are sentimental, but they are incredibly beautiful and delicate (these pigeons and butterflies flying in her room, for example). And the scene where Gong-ju sings a song to another protagonist Jong-du must be one of the most beautiful scenes of "confession of love" ever depicted by a film. That is the moment, I am sure, when this film takes suddenly on the features of something sacred.
The director says this is a film about "border" as well as "communication." And in order to show the difficulty of communication and/or of going across the border, he tried to make Jong-du an abominable and disgusting person, especially at the beginning of the film. If you feel uncomfortable when you start to watch this film, you should consider that such discomfort was intentional even though the behaviors by Jong-du seem to be extremely violent and selfish. And you should also be patient until the "miraculous" moment of the "mutation" (from vulgarity to holiness) comes. You will certainly forget about the discomfort you had felt.
And this is naturally a film about Love. It shows us just "one of" the forms of love, should I probably say, since the one shown in this film is too special and peculiar, but still I am tempted to say: "This is the Love."
I though of "The Legend of St. Julian Hospitator" by Gustave Flaubert, but I do not know if I should expect that the protagonists would be called under the name of the "saints" or so. And I also remembered the heroine Sarah of "The End of the Affair" by Graham Greene. Sarah writes in her diary, thinking of her lover named Maurice, with whom she had decided not to meet again because of the promise with God: "I'm not at peace any more. I just want him like I used to in the old days. I want to be eating sandwiches with him. I want to be drinking with him in a bar. I'm tired and I don't want any more pain. I want Maurice. I want ordinary corrupt human love."
Once swore to God to separate from his lover, Sarah wants him always, being full of desires and wanting "corrupt human love" even just before her death. She stayed secular and even vulgar until the end, even though the author must have wished to lead her to the path toward God. And that is just why Sarah, that miserable mortal, stays always in my mind.
Same thing for Gong-ju and Jong-du. Their happiness may exist in this real world full of prejudice and discrimination, where ugly desire or ordinary cheapness of human life smears them. But it may also give them pleasure to love, to help each other, and/or to share something precious between them. They do not need God, but they just need each other.
Nobody knows whether or not the future will congratulate them in the end, but probably, as did the director, should I leave them in the room of Gong-ju, where many dusts floating in the air are shimmering with the sunlight, and Gong-ju seems to be smiling, reading the letter from Jong-du. We don't know if they will be able to finish their story, but anyway, they have started it. Everything is now up to them.

Putlocker The Secret Life of Pets 2
Finally, a sequel that's much better than the original.
I can't understand why this only got five stars. maybe there aren't enough vehicles crashing and bursting into flames, so it doesn't appeal to those who like mindless action flicks.
This movie definitely has a B-movie "look" to it, and I can't explain what that means. It's just dark, or something. I'd probably blame it on the PD, though that's a guess.
Regardless, the screenplay is decent, the acting is excellent, and the direction / editing is strong, non-boring, and lacking in most of the typical cliches that you would expect from this genre. This is not a classic, not something I want to watch more than once, but a totally engaging and entertaining action flick that didn't once insult my intelligence.
I give it a solid seven stars.
Director: Chris Renaud, Jonathan del Val

It's going to get very mixed reviews. I predict many will love it, and many will revile it. I was caught somewhere in the middle. Without giving any actual spoilers away, consider this:
1. If you absolutely HATE musicals, save your money. This is the John/Taupin equivalent of a Rodgers & Hammerstein. It is not presented as a straightforward biopic in the same manner as BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY. 2. Much as I love Elton John, this "rock & roll fantasy" of his life treads a little too far into campy territory for me, with 2, maybe 3 very (thankfully) brief moments in the film that can only be described as cringeworthy. ("Oh, come on, guys--seriously?" moments.) There were times when I genuinely felt this was going to end up as the Ken Russell version of TOMMY for the new millennium. 3. Never, at any point in the film, is Paul Buckmaster mentioned or acknowledged. This infuriated me! For those who don't already know: in the early days of EJ's career, Paul was the orchestrator who provided EJ with the BEAUTIFUL, lush string accompaniments that added so much to EJ's early music (classic example: EJ's soundtrack to the 1971 French film, FRIENDS) and, IMHO, could have been a big player in his success as a burgeoning artist, firmly introducing/establishing The Elton John "Sound." He SHOULD have been a part of this film--even a small one, if deemed necessary--but for him to be utterly omitted from the story mystifies me. Maybe someone in the know can enlighten me on this.
These 3 things, however, are about my only problems with the film. Credit must be given where it's due:
1. Taron Egerton is actually pretty amazing. Some might see his acting as occasionally over the top, but frankly and for all we know, maybe EJ really did act that "extremely" at times, considering his anger issues. His singing, most of the time, is virtually spot-on, catching EJ's lilting singing style quite well. 2. The supporting cast: Jamie Bell (Bernie Taupin), Bryce Dallas Howard , Richard Madden (EJ's agent & self-centered 1st lover), Stephen Graham (Dick James), Tate Donovan (L.A.'s Troubador Club manager Doug Weston), Gemma Jones (Ivy, EJ's grandmother, I think...? Or friend of the family?) & Steven Mackintosh (EJ's cold, uncaring father)...and all others in the film, essentially faultless. ESPECIALLY Jamie's portrayal of Bernie. Wow. 3. You can't really find fault with the staging and choreography of the musical numbers. Very professionally done. 4. You will learn many things about EJ's life in this film that you may not have known before...I know I did. 5. Have a few Kleenexes handy. Enough said. 6. Don't leave right away after the credits roll.
So, is it worth seeing? My criticisms aside (and we all know what they say about opinions), it really comes down to this: if you're a fan--and especially a DEDICATED fan, like me, who's followed him from his humble beginnings in America in the summer of 1970--go see it. Decide for yourself if my gripes hold any water.

Putlocker Godzilla II: King of the Monsters
Along with Smith & Jones, Gareth Hale and Norman Pace made up the other popular British comedy duo to brighten our screens in the nineties. They spent less time on satirising the big issues and more on sexual innuendos and dirty jokes than S & J, with the kind of sniggering enthusiasm that has always been the English approach to toilet humour. Not surprisingly, their regular characters included two imbecilic teenagers with penchant for sadomasochistic pranks, and a pair of so-nice-you-just-wanna-puke children's show hosts who dropped outlandish double entendres with smiling innocence. They also had something of a gangster fetish, best realised in the two Rons, a pair of stone-faced cockney hoods in black tie who had a firm faith in the compatibility of electrodes and testicles. They shamelessly drew and played on the boorish, sexist and national chauvinistic mentality so loved by the British tabloid press and still too often prevalent when dealing with anything or anyone across the Channel, but never really succumbed to endorsing it without that tongue on the cheek. They always were a bit too clever and a bit too juvenile for that.
Interestingly, Hale & Pace also shone in the obligatory musical numbers that closed their shows, producing a few classics such as the Chris Rea parody "The Voice from Hell"; the Scottish rap duo McHammer (probably not a joke anymore); a country and western song about the singer's Dad, who was a Nazi transvestite, "a goose-stepping man of the night"; and one Godley&Creme-style video that took all the sloppy metaphors in the song's lyrics just a bit too literally. Often these are the most perfunctory parts of a sketch show, but they had enough hits to warrant the one all-music special that combined the best of their singing career.
There is of course only so many ways you can crack a joke about the French, premature ejaculation or the oafishness of anyone with a regional accent, and Hale & Pace eventually started to lose their potency. But their best skits still hold up today, smutty but clever, liberatingly funny in their incorrectness and their vigorously exploited stereotypes.

When I first saw the promos for this I knew I would watch it mainly for Ed Westwick. I missed him after Gossip Girl. Boy doesn't he look good! What a gorgeous man! His character is just dripping sexy! By the way why isn't Ed's name listed as top billing? I understand Jeremy has been around longer and I'm happy to have him back as well after the US version of The Returned was taken off the air after only one season, what a bummer. At least he should be after Jeremy in billing because the show is centered around these two characters the most. I will be watching this show as long as the network continues to show it. For those TV and movie fanatics out there, don't let the music not being perfect to your standards bother you so much. Try to just enjoy the show and all the wonderful actors portraying their characters.

Putlocker Horrible Histories: The Movie - Rotten Romans
Sadly, a disappointment. I love Harold Lloyd, but, though many consider it his masterpiece, I did not find this one of his better works. Not that it's bad or anything, but I thought it lacked jokes compared to an average Lloyd film, and that the jokes that were there weren't as funny as they could have been. There are only two setpieces, and only one of them approaches the greatness of Safety Last or Speedy. That is the college party that Harold throws. He gets a cheap suit made, and the tailor, who can't quite stitch everything he needs to in time for the party, has to follow him around, repairing tears as they happen. It's hilarious, Lloyd dancing all over the floor while his sleeve is ripping off. The best moment of the film has Lloyd use the tailor's arm and hand to replace his own while the sleeve is being repaired. A buddy asks Harold if he can borrow ten bucks, and though he is shaking his head no, the tailor reaches into Harold's pocket and hands the guy a ten. The climactic football game is good, but, compared to the climb that finishes up Safety Last, it is unimpressive and certainly not as fun. I also was disappointed in the romance, again with Jobyna Ralston. Her character seems like an afterthought. 7/10.

Putlocker John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum
I would have a hard time saying that this is a hilarious movie, but it's got some really good stuff to it. The film is just plain odd from beginning to end. Whoever thought this stuff up (I guess that would be Adam Resnick and Chris Elliot) has quite an imagination. As far as the comedy goes, it's actually pretty funny most of the time. I don't think I ever found myself really busting up, but I did laugh quite a few times. If you liked Chris Elliott's comedy from Saturday Night Live, than I would hope that you find this film funny.
The cast was pretty good, nothing much to complain about there. Chris Elliott did a good job with his role, pretty darn good for a first starring role. All of the shipmate characters were very well done and fun to watch. Melora Walters was personal fav of mine. I don't think I've ever seen her in anything else, but she looks absolutely fantastic in this film. Ricki Lake was an odd character/actor in the film. Her character was beyond strange, and the fact that the character was played by Ricki Lake just makes it even stranger. I also liked the fairly small role played by Mike Starr. Another high point for me was seeing Andy Richter from "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" in the film. Andy seems like such a likeable guy. There is also a nice cameo of David Letterman in the film, personally, I'm not a fan of Letterman's television show, but nonetheless he was actually pretty funny in his role/cameo.
I would say that if you like Chris Elliott's comedy from Saturday Night Live, then you should go ahead an give this film a chance. It's not the greatest film you'll ever see, but it's fun and entertaining. Also, it's only 80 minutes of your life...I'm sure you can spare 80 minutes. Enjoy the film, and thanks for reading.

Putlocker Annabelle Comes Home
I was disappointed with Annabelle Comes Home because they had an immense list of material to use and they didn't. There were too many ideas and they all clashed and the story didn't make sense at times. The "comedy" scenes felt awkward and forced, just like The Nun, and overall came across like it was supposed to be a teen suspense film rather than a horror film. It kept me at the edge off my seat a bit but never went beyond that. Annabelle Creation and the first Conjuring are still the best films out of this whole franchise.

Putlocker The Last Black Man in San Francisco
This independent drama on the effects of gentrification in San Francisco played to strong reviews at Sundance. It's also distributed by A24, and their films are generally very high-quality. Judging from its trailer, the film looked to be a mix of understatedly beautiful aesthetics (including some extraordinary cinematography of the Bay Area,) searing character drama, and social commentary. The film is generally well-made, and some aspects of it are undeniably impressive for a directorial debut.
The plot follows a man named Jimmie, whose grandfather built a house in San Francisco on land he purchased during World War II. Today, Jimmie wishes to live in this spacious Victorian house, but its market value has skyrocketed due to gentrification of the neighborhood (and nearby neighborhoods) near where it is located. He begins to develop a scheme with his best friend to move into the house. The film's cinematography is exceptional, and manages to juxtapose both realism and romanticism in terms of how it depicts both the ideals and the realities of San Francisco residents today. Some of the film's shots may remind viewers of Spike Lee's early films, but the film's aesthetic always feels wholly original at the end of the day. The film also uses a variety of other visual and narrative tricks, such as a tableaux vivant-style scene, to help convey the points it is trying to make on how gentrification is affecting relationships between people in urban areas today, much less exacerbating social inequality. The film's simple score is beautiful and almost haunting at times in terms of its elegance and emotional power. The performances in the film are generally strong, as the almost laid-back method acting of the two leads is thoughtful and impactful in its sheer simplicity.
Despite the film's clear achievements on a technical and narrative level that intersects strong performances with aesthetics, "The Last Black Man in San Francisco" isn't perfect. The film doesn't have too many key plot points, which would normally be okay given the film's understated tone. However, the film does feel rather drawn-out in that the narrative doesn't always impact even scenes in which the director is trying to promote substance over style. The narrative's climax is also a bit disappointing. It lacks a clear transition both preceding it and after it, and doesn't quite pack the impact on a viewer in which a film's climax should. That said, the ending is generally satisfying. Also, the film's social commentary is a bit of a mixed bag in that it shows the ways in which gentrification has affected San Francisco--yet it manages to reduce supporting characters both benefitting from and greatly harmed by gentrification to almost caricatures. As a result, the film's messaging on the perils of gentrification in cities comes up just a little short, and clearly falls below the effectiveness of social commentary in films like "Get Out." That said, there's definitely plenty to like about this indie drama. Generally recommended. 7/10

Putlocker Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark
The movie itself was not bad. However if people see a movie's description as 'horror movie' they tend to expect one. Sadly, Scary Stories to tell in the dark was just a scarier Maleficient. If you have kids and you want to slowly start them to watch horror movies then this is definitely the one to start with. The way the 'bad guys' were portrayed in this movie reminded me more of the 'Ghostbusters' remake than any other real horror movie. Heads down to Harold though.

Putlocker Dora and the Lost City of Gold
What a disappointment mostly (hee hee )because I wanted to see if Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin would show up but now I now why they did not come to the Tribeca Film Festival in NYC this year, 2010.
Not a bad story and only Brian Geraghty was in the least interesting and difficult to predict and he is very psycho looking. I love his work.
I usually would not walk out on a film but this was so tempting.
I did not want to offend and after all I paid $18.00 for my seat.
Gratuitous gore is just boring and there was no substance or depth to any of the characters. Poor casting, flat acting, lacking in any depth or substance.
I did not care for any of the characters.
Cinematography and art direction were good.
It was so dull that I hope he re-edits it before release. Cinematography was so so.
I however still believe in Mr. Paquins potential and that must be why he got in this festival in the first place.
Almost there Mr.Paquin.

Putlocker Blinded by the Light
I saw this at a secret screening and it's not my normal kind of film, but it is a interesting message about culture and how the ideals we are exposed to can shape us.
Sticking with it to the end brings it full circle, and that seems to be the point of the story.

Putlocker Red Joan
Red Joan is a movie with exceptional production values: it's beautifully written with a nonlinear but easy to follow and riveting narrative. It's also skillfully directed, shot and edited. In the closing credits, it reads the movie is based on Melita Norwood's life as a Russian spy but its subject matter has hardly anything to do with Norwood's actual story, which makes it pretty much all fiction, albeit an intriguing one. Despite some minor plot holes, the story is strong and engaging. The pace is gripping from the beginning to the end without a lull moment. Cinematography is gorgeous with nice scenes from 40's England. The acting is a first-rate performance, featuring lovely Sophie Cookson as young Joan. Although J. Dench is billed as the top actor in the cast, it's S. Cookson who carries the story from the beginning to the end. In fact, J. Dench acts as the elderly Joan in a mildly interesting subplot with a cursory impact on the main story, except to defend her moral grounds at the end by claiming she did the right thing when everything is considered retrospectively.
The only negative side was the climax of the story spanned the war years but all we saw was the posh life of Londoners in fancy coats, cafes and movie theaters. There was not a hint of difficulties of war time in the absence of air raids, destroyed neighborhoods, bomb shelters, food rations, etc.
Finally, the script is not rehashed from a cheesy J. Le Carre airport paperback with an overly complicated plot and neck breaking twists. There's no blood and gore, neither action or fight scenes all of which are common to spy thrillers (in fact there's only one scene as the reminiscent of those spy flicks but I'll not spoil it here). It's a drama full of tense relations, mystery, intricacies, backstabbing, lies as well as romance with an interesting and engaging narrative. With those features, it's more for brainy audience than those action junkies. Highly recommended.

The Lion King Putlocker (2019)
Release: July 17, 2019
Putlocker The Lion King
I just finished the sixth episode in one day so I'm totally addicted. The acting is brilliant and the lead is so beautiful. Great casting. I've read awesome reviews and bad reviews thus far so do yourself a favor and watch it for yourself and once you do you will devour it. I'm a male and love it. Never would I think I would ever say that about a female dancing show. It's definitely a drama but has moments of comedy thrown in in random spots. I think people will respond well to it. Its too bad it's only 8 episodes. When the lead dances she literally dances flawlessly. The creator also wrote for breaking bad in a side note. Starz hit a home run with this one but be warned it is for mature audiences. There is sexual content and nudity. But overall it's such a great fun show and the theme song says it all!! Don't let the negative reviews make u reluctant opinions are like... well watch it!
UPDATE JUST FINISHED. . if you enjoyed whiplash you'll love flesh and bone! Only shortcoming is the fact that there are 8 episodes. What a terrific show to binge wow
