Putlocker Rock of Ages (2012)
Set in 1987 Los Angeles, Drew and Sherrie are two young people chasing their dreams in the big city. When they meet, it's love at first sight, though their romance will face a series of challenges. User Review: ROCK OF AGES is a tremendous surprise! Well-scripted, spot-on casting, well-acted, the singing, choreography, choices by the actors for their characters, directing, editing, soundtrack. What is the best surprise is that Tom Cruise's voice is perfect for this; raw yet emotive. He nails his role, as do all of his co-actors. This film is a clear U.S. cultural experience in the musical genre like DIRTY DANCING, Saturday NIGHT FEVER, MAMA MIA, CHICAGO, DANCE WITH ME, GREASE, ET AL. See it in the theater. Without giving it away "Romeo and Juliet as one arc, then an amalgamation of Steve Perry's and others lives in rock n' roll as the second arc. And the male lead to Julianne Hough's character, Diego....You, Go, Diego! You have great pipes.
Director: Adam Shankman
Cast: Julianne Hough, Diego Boneta and Tom Cruise

Putlocker The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 (2011)
The Quileute and the Volturi close in on expecting parents Edward and Bella, whose unborn child poses different threats to the wolf pack and vampire coven. Review: It's hard to describe this movie in just 1,000 words but I'll try to keep it short. I'm a huge fan of the books, but I've been disappointed with the last two movies so my hopes weren't that high for this one. I shouldn't have worried. Breaking Dawn blew me away from the first scene. Stewart is finally acting, which is one of the biggest reasons why this movie is so much better than the others. She portrays Bella in a way that is so close to the book, and it's wonderful to see her and Pattinson playing lovers that are so, so, so in love. The fact that Bill Condon (director) gave the happy couple so much time to be just that, happy, makes you really believe in their love and it makes you understand why they can't live without each other. Such an important part (or THE most important thing I should say) but something that the previous directors have failed in showing. This movie takes you from a beautiful wedding, complete with the most hilarious toasts (Jessica and Charlie) wonderful music, stunning dresses and declarations of love that will touch everyone's hearts, to South America for a sexy, funny and exciting honeymoon where we see heartfelt smiles, kissing, cuddling and teasing along with the epic headboard breaking scene. It then settles back in Forks, where we get to witness the most terrifying pregnancy imaginable. The special effects team deserve an Oscar for the work they've done on making Stewart look like she's slowly fading away. The moments leading up to the birth scene are actually scarier than the scene itself. It really is a horror film towards the end, and some scenes should maybe have been rated R. It ends in the perfect place, such a natural and obvious cut. I am so thankful that Breaking Dawn has been split into two parts, because I can't imagine even once scene in this part that could have been skipped. Condon is a genius.
Director: Bill Condon
Cast: Taylor Lautner, Gil Birmingham, Billy Burke, Sarah Clarke, Ty Olsson, Kristen Stewart, Ashley Greene, Jackson Rathbone, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed, Robert Pattinson, Christian Sloan, James Pizzinato
Putlocker Magic Mike (2012)
Mike, an experienced stripper, takes a younger performer called The Kid under his wing and schools him in the arts of partying, picking up women, and making easy money. User Review: If your a girl and you don't think this movie was a 10 out of 10, your crazy. Like sorry straight men, but your opinion doesn't really count especially because this movie was made for girls? Well anyways, not only was this movie funny, but you seen a lot of beautiful built men stripping. You can't go wrong with this movie. I will see it again very soon, and I will be buying this on DVD as soon as it comes out. It was worth waiting in line for an hour and a half, and jumping from theater to theater because it sold out everywhere. It was actually worth it in the first 3 minutes when you see Matthew talk and Channings ass. Go see it, you won't be disappointed.
Director: Steven Soderbergh
Cast: Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughey and Olivia Munn

Putlocker Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 (2010)
Voldemort's power is growing stronger. He now has control over the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts. Harry, Ron, and Hermione decide to finish Dumbledore's work and find the rest of the Horcruxes to defeat the Dark Lord. But little hope remains for the Trio, and the rest of the Wizarding World, so everything they do must go as planned. After having seen HP6, I honestly didn't have great expectations in this one. I guessed it would be darker and scarier, as every HP movie has been darker and scarier than its predecessor. But HP6 was such a patchwork of scenes that didn't give you the feeling of a coherent work – I was afraid the even more complex story line of HP7 would make an even less coherent movie. However, I must say it was definitely a wise decision to split the 7th book into 2 movies. HP7 can take time to explain and introduce all the characters that are necessary to the plot. I love the way Voldemort and the Death Eaters are portrayed in this movie. They are no longer just anonymous caped figures. You can see them interacting with each other, discussing and well… being human. Well, I'm always a big fan of the blurring of these clearcut good/evil categories in Fantasy. As the book is split into 2 parts, all of a sudden, there's also time for little embellishments I hadn't realized I had missed in the earlier movies! For example, I loved the scene so much where the feather floated through the air when the fairy tale of the Three Brothers was being told. Also drawing style that was used during the story was really amazing. This HP movie was the first of all that finally gave me the same feeling as Lord of the Rings did: Boy, this is not just some guys slavishly adapting a book into a movie, but they're actually autonomous artists and they have ideas of their own! And I don't mean they changed the whole plot (I wouldn't like that)! But (mostly visually) they did more than just bring across what's in the book. This also expresses itself in the decision not to include the childish Harry Potter musical theme (at least I didn't hear it, correct me if I'm wrong) from the first movie that sounds like “Wow, everything's so magical here!” That tune was fine for the first movie, but as Harry got older and the movies got darker, it kind of felt like they had to force this theme into every movie several times even though it didn't really fit any more. Now the soundtrack, too, has finally grown up. And I loved it! Last but not least, the acting was brilliant! The tense atmosphere between Harry, Ron and Hermione really came across. Also with all the doppelganger scenes, you always still saw from their movements and behavior which character was which though they were in disguise in a different body. All in all, as the title says, this is a excellent grown-up movie and I can recommend it to everyone – except kids! If you have little kids, please don't take them. This movie has far too many scary scenes and little comic relief! Plus, the plot is quit complex including lots and lots of minor characters. It's really no longer a movie targeted at kids, even though it's still labeled Harry Potter.
Director: David Yates
Cast: Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint

Putlocker The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012)
The Perks of Being a Wallflower is another story about a simple guy living in a cruel life of high school. The difference is he's not ought to save the day, wants to lose his virginity, seeking to be popular, or revenge on his bullies. The story is about a shy kid who wants to get along with people and can't wait to leave high school. Behind it is the genuine pain and emotion of the characters which makes it more than just another story about teenagers. Stephen Chbosky tells his own story on screen pretty well and the performances are quite excellent. The Perks of Being a Wallflower is often heartbreaking, charming, and wonderful. Charlie is palpably just another teenage protagonist, but he is not one of those who tries to prove everyone who mistreated him wrong. His goal is to get away from being anti-social and be like anyone else in high school. We may have heard a story like this before, but what makes this one extraordinary is when it mostly depicts the darkest aspects of their lives. Expressing the most heartbreaking truths about these teenagers. Knowing their problems easily makes it reasonable for us to care about them. The romance is rather credibly lovely than a mainstream claptrap. In the joyous moments, it's pretty delightful and plays a quite nostalgic soundtrack. The film gives the actors some nuance. This is probably a good thing for Logan Lerman. He usually plays the simple charming guy in movies. Since he's good at those, he adds some credibility to Charlie. Emma Watson is likable enough as Sam. The best among the three is Ezra Miller. One might hams it up for Patrick, but Miller gave the character a genuinely wonderful personality. The director and author, Stephen Chbosky, didn't try anything else than to bring his book to life. He tells it straightforward on screen with plenty of strong, effective emotions. The cinematography is bright and beautiful enough. The tunnel scene has the best shots. While the soundtrack is too conspicuous, the music score is noticeably melancholic. The Perks of Being a Wallflower is best if you can actually relate to the lead character or have experienced the struggles of being an adolescent. When it's not depressing, the film goes to those blissful moments that make us remember the good times in high school. Overall, it's a great film. It's a film adaptation that replaces the cliché mainstream swagger with some painful realities and simply let the audience understand the whole point of it. In the end, it's quite a remarkable film.
Director: Stephen Chbosky
Cast: Logan Lerman, Emma Watson and Ezra Miller

Putlocker New Year's Eve (2011)
The lives of several couples and singles in New York intertwine over the course of New Year's Eve. Review: New Years Eve was the perfect feel good movie. It has everything from romance to heartbreak. With the all star cast you can't help but have high expectations and mine were met. Lea's singing was amazing as was Bon Jovi's and I could not help but giggle when Zac and Michelle were cast together and share a kiss as all i could think of was them in Hairspray. This movie shows us the good and the bad of everyday life. It shows the hope that people should and do hold onto and that you should look forward and embrace the new year not think of all the bad that has happened in the present year. Hector's role in this movie was awesome and such a fantastic way to make the audience laugh as was the baby having competition between the two couples. This movie is full of clichés and cheesiness however it is exactly that which will charm the audience and make you come out of the cinema with a smile and perhaps a few ideas of what you will do for you new years.
Director: Garry Marshall
Cast: Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Biel and Ashton Kutcher

Putlocker Hit and Run (2012)
Is a comedy about a young couple ('Kristen Bell' and Dax Shepard) that risks it all when they leave their small town life and embark on a road trip that may lead them towards the opportunity of a lifetime. Their fast-paced road trip grows awkwardly complicated and hilarious when they are chased by a friend from the past ('Bradley Cooper' ), a federal marshal ('Tom Arnold' ) and a band of misfits. User Review: This is a creative, original, funny, and action packed story, a wonderful example of independent filmmaking. Dax Shepard was able to get away with a $2 million budget by recruiting friends like Bradley Cooper and (real life GF) Kristen Bell to act. The other main characters, the cars, were largely his own. The film has a True Romance feel, only infused into a chase movie. The action set-pieces are fantastic. Simple, beautiful, effective. Slow motion burnouts, lovingly filmed, fish tails, even one or two stunt jumps. And I'm 99% sure there was no CGI at any point. Just good old fashioned fast cars going fast. Seriously. Think of the last 10 minutes of Death Proof extended to half a movie. I didn't know Shepard before this, but he's a funny guy. In his writing, in his content, in his delivery. At one point a redneck onlooker struts up to his prized Lincoln Continental and asks if it has nitrous. Dax's character Charlie matter of factly tells him, "Nitrous is for fags. This has cubic inches," then drives away. But it's more than just dialogue. Like when a wannabe tough guy bottoms out his Pontiac Solstice leaving the driveway. Sometimes it's the subtle things. The movie got no marketing, and hardly anyone knows it's even in theaters. Too bad. This is a hidden gem, required viewing for fans of chase movies.
